Welcome to Kindergarten! The 2021-2022 school year will be my 9th year at Oak Grove and my 5th year teaching Kindergarten. I previously taught First Grade on Track 3 for four years before moving to Kindergarten on Track 2.
*I've always wanted to be a teacher. When I was little, I asked Santa for pull down maps, an overhead projector and everything I needed to convert my playroom into a classroom. I had my own punch card to the teacher store at the young age of 6. Teaching is my passion!!
*I studied abroad while at Meredith College in the Summer of 2011. I went to Italy and learned so much about their schools, the importance of play and had the opportunity to visit and work with many children! It is one of my favorite experiences!
